The 2026 season turned out to be one of our best yet. After an unusually wet spring delayed our first honey pull, the bees more than made up for lost time.
This year we focused on keeping colonies smaller and stronger. We added honey supers and queen excluders only when the queens were at their peak laying cycle, allowing the bees to do what they do best.
Four apiary locations around Van Alstyne produced healthy colonies. The honey is a little darker than last year, giving it a richer flavor and robust finish while staying smooth and delicious.
